The Corporate Administration Service undertakes a wide range of service delivery within the organisation and works from several locations across the Authority. We ensure our services remain focussed and effective, so our customers feel assured of the support and resilience a Corporate Administration Service provides, which in turn allows them to focus on their core service.
We are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave. You will work within our Specialist Support Teams who work in partnership supporting the Children’s Service and the Adults Service from offices in Billingham, Stockton and Thornaby. Duties will involve working within a range of databases, providing support for meetings and conferences, the production of letters and reports and support to members of the public, professionals and other agencies.
We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication and keyboard skills, the ability to deal confidently with a diverse range of customers and who have experience of working in a busy office environment. The successful candidates will also be flexible, and customer focused and will have a high level of commitment to work in partnership with service users.
This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder some of their working time away from the office in line with the Council’s policy.
