Job Summary A leading multi-national property investment and development business which is behind some of London’s most iconic new developments has an exciting opportunity for an Finance / AP Assistant.
They have built an exemplary reputation for delivering greener, smarter and sustainable developments in prime locations across a variety of sectors including commercial offices, retail, leisure and logistics, which has led to the exponential growth of this business.
To sustain the growth of this diverse business, they are looking to recruit an accomplished Finance / AP Assistant to be an integral member of their finance team where part of your role will involve assisting with a major systems and process improvement project.
Key responsibilities include;
- Set-up and register new supplier accounts
- Purchase order management including coding and matching invoices
- Processing and paying invoices across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Assist with the preparation and production of VAT and CIS returns
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Contribute to and assist with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures including software migration, intra group costs re-charging etc)
- Support internal departments in relation to PO’s, invoicing and budget management
- Provide year end audit support and any associated queries
Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant preferably from a property, real estate or construction background.
You will have a degree in Accounting & Finance grade 2:1 or AAT level 3 and above with a knowledge of double entry bookkeeping in conjunction with UK VAT and CIS principles.
Finally, you will have good attention to detail, with a friendly demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills.
