What’s the role?

You will work with our education sector client to achieve public sector procurement excellence. You will manage the clients’ tendering and contract requirements, provide sound procurement advice and excellent customer service. You will be an organised individual who can deliver our services with a smile.


Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for leading the tendering process for a variety of expense categories, projects and services. You will help our clients to meet the requirements of PCR 2015 and their own internal regulations. You will work with the client’s stakeholders to draft tender packs to ensure contracts placed achieve value for money, cost savings, where available, and improved service levels.

This role will be working within the Tenet Education Services team (part of the CPL Group), offering procurement consultancy services to the client. Formed in 1994, Tenet have an enviable record of delivering improvements, transformations, compliance, and value for money to schools, colleges, academies, and universities across the UK. We actively support organisations with a combined non-pay spend of over £500m, which means that our team have a vast amount of experience procuring and managing a wide range of contracting for goods and services. Our ideal candidate will have good experience of procurement, including some experience of managing tendering processes in a public sector setting, meeting UK regulations for public sector procurement. Experience of procurement in the education sector or a public sector organisation is essential. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to deadlines are essential requirements. CIPS membership is desirable but candidates that are working towards CIPS or can demonstrate suitable alternative qualifications and/or experience will be considered. Salary and benefits

In return for your dedication to the role you will receive a salary of up to £42,000 (pro-rata), dependant on experience. In addition to this:
